The first Junior event of the year really kicked off the calendar with a bang. 120 competitors from across the North of England came together in Bradford for a full day of competition.
The Third Junior and Youth European Championships were held at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield in October and attracted over 160 competitors.

2nd British Open Aikido Championships was held in June at Dartford Judo with players from the BAA, SAUK and visiting guests from Shodokan Spain.
