I have been practicing Aikido for over 10 years, it is now a huge part of not only my life, but that of my husband and two children.
Competition plays a very important part in Tomiki Aikido and working with brilliant partners (Uki) and coaches, has enabled me to compete at National, European and World  Championships in the Tanto Junanahon (with the knife).
In April 2023 I was promoted to 2nd Dan, which was made possible through all the help, support and advice I received from all of the amazing coaches that have trained me over the years. 
Principles in Aikido are so important, they are the foundations of everything that we do and therefore, everything that I promote and teach, throughout Kata and free practice.
